Real Women In Trucking (RWIT) in partnership with Truckers Movement for Justice (TMJ) was invited to the Florida Fruit and Vegetable Association Meeting on December 6th to address the FDOT Florida Empty Backhaul Report that rightly identified that nearly 50% of the trucks that enter Florida leave the state empty but wrongly identified the reasons why. This video is the presentation we delivered in person to highlight brokers skimming rates, fuel surcharges, double brokering and the FMCSA not enforcing the regulations regarding broker transparency.
